LICENSE PREPARATION COURSE
We now have live in-person classes that are safe with secure cubicles. We also offer Zoom classes for contractors license in Los Angeles.
Overview
The in-school program consists of six classes covering the Law and Trade. The course is structured so you only have to come to class once a week for two hours, with convenient evening and weekend class times. Flexible scheduling and class format allows you to come on different days from week to week. You will come to class for six weeks, then work with our practice exams and study materials as much as you need for your final preparation before you sit for the test. You may also repeat a class if you miss it the first time or just want to take it again.
We also offer a home study program where students can purchase our books, study guides and practice exams to prepare for their test by studying the material at home. Unless you live too far away, we recommend that you enroll and attend classes to maximize your chances of passing the test the first time.
Our experience with this Contractors license school has shown that it’s much harder for most people to study effectively at home than it is to learn in a classroom environment. With all the distractions at home (kids, phone calls, spouse, TV, etc.), it’s just not conducive to retaining and learning the material....and you have nobody to ask questions or clarify what you’ve read. Also, a home study program tends to load you up with information to memorize, while a classroom environment helps you really learn the material.
What makes our program so successful?
Our preparation course is focused entirely on the exam and the information and techniques needed to help you pass the first time, guaranteed, or your money back. Through our classes and our interactive practice tests, you will learn exactly what you need to know to get your license. That’s why our success rate is so high and we can make this guarantee. Here’s a few other reasons why this program is so highly recommended.
Complete Application Processing
Many first-time applicants fail to complete their state application properly, especially when it comes to documenting their work experience, causing the application to be returned and resulting in more delays. CSLC will help you get started by typing your application, making sure all information is complete and submitting your application to the Contractors Board to ensure you the soonest possible test date available.
Real Classrooms with Live Instruction
Some of the other places may call themselves schools, but do your homework! Do they offer real classes, or just a study hall? Many of them claim that you don’t need to come to class, that you can just study their practice questions at home and be ready to pass. Experience has taught us that while this may sound convenient, it doesn’t work for most people because they don’t really learn the material. As a student at CSLC you’ll receive classroom lectures and instruction from a certified instructor/licensed contractor who will explain and simplify the material for you and answer your questions, plus easy reading guides for construction law and business, trade, math, practice exams, videos, audio tapes and CD’s.
The most up to date current practice exams
Practice tests play a critical role in your preparation to take the state exam. Many other home study programs and schools will give you the same recycled questions, giving you less margin for error to get a passing score. Remember, test questions can and do change frequently – that’s why we have a full time contractor on staff who is continually researching the test requirements and updating our materials. You will take your practice tests on computers designed to simulate the format and questions you will see on the actual test. When it’s time to take your exam, you’ll feel confident because you’ll know what to expect and you’ll know that you’re prepared!
Just two hours a week with our work friendly schedule
We know you have to fit in your test preparation around your job and other commitments. That’s why we’ve structured our course so you only have to come to class once a week for two hours, with convenient evening and weekend class times. And with our flexible scheduling and class format, you can even come on different days from week to week. You will come to class for six weeks, then work with our practice exams and study materials as much as you need for your final preparation before you sit for the test.
